We followed a strategy to go through Harry Potter series - we to read each book followed by watching the same movie before moving to the next one. It
turned out to be an interesting experience as we enjoyed pointing out the
seemingly significant parts that could not be squeezed into a couple of hours
of screen time.
The first
movie will always have a special place in my heart and mind because of a couple
of main reasons - firstly, the newness of a thing is impossible to be
replicated, secondly, the endearing Harry and his friends just entered the
hearts of all readers and movie watchers. The pristine looks of Harry, his
goodness, his compassion for others were just some of the things which simply
made him a hero within a few minutes into the movie.
While
watching the movie - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, I simply missed
the innocent looking, unsure lad who looked out of the Hogwarts Express to have
a first peek at what his life is going to be in the new world of Hogwarts.
I know a
human cannot remain a little child forever, but knowledge of inevitable does
not make you not miss some things.
